BELLA MOSCA - ROOTS OF INSPIRATION
Bella Mosca was inspired by my fascination with Traditional Chinese Medicine and its philosophy of seeing the body as a garden, where every element, from the smallest plant to the grandest tree, plays a role in maintaining overall well-being. This belief in trusting the earth and its natural rhythms has been deepened by the past four years that I, Dominique, have been living in Indonesia, contrasting sharply with the fast-paced lifestyle of the West.
COLLECTION 01 - BOTANICAL ALCHEMY
Each piece in the collection reflects this philosophy, embracing natural, organic shapes. The Mandragora Pendant takes inspiration from an ancient healing plant I found in the Hortus Sanitatis, the first 15th-century Western encyclopedia that describes plants and their healing powers. In there, the mandrake is revered for its potent properties.
Meanwhile, the Hand of Glory, drawing from the ancient belief of “main de gloire”, represents a departure from conventional Western norms, symbolizing a journey of breaking free from traditional beliefs and connecting with one's inner presence.

Through Bella Mosca, I aim to enhance and embody these philosophies, merging them with a contemporary aesthetic. Blending natural textures, organic forms, and ancient symbols.
Each piece is handcrafted by skilled Balinese artisans, ensuring that every design is a unique manifestation of the brand's core values.
